Description

From the trailhead parking area, look for the old road bed that heads north into the woods. The trail passes junctions with Hannah's Creek Trail and Thornburg Trail before ending at a junction with the Birkhead Mountain Trail. Along the way it crosses its namesake several times before climbing onto a ridge where it ends.
