Description

Forest Trail #508.1A (Blixt Trail) is a non-motorized route that offers a steep climb on an old mining road starting in the Ophir Valley at approximately 9,800 feet in elevation and proceeding up into Bridal Veil Basin at just over 12,000 feet.

The southern end of the trail begins on Forest Road #630 then proceeds above tree line past remnants of historic mining to a high saddle locally known as Oscar's Pass. This 2.8-mile trail then intersects with Wasatch Trail #508 and Bridal Veil Trail #636.
