Family Friendly The Terry Top Trail's moderate length and steady, gentle grades make it a viable option for families with children.

Description

Follow the Terry Top Trail down from the parking area into dense, established forest. Continue descending until you reach a ridgeline, at which point the New River Gorge will be visible. Travel along the ridgeline, passing through vibrant meadows until reaching the trail's end at the site of a 19th century family cemetery.

Flora & Fauna

Hemlock and Pine abound on this trail.
