Family Friendly While the length of this trail may deter children, the presence of swimming holes and waterfalls could make it worthwhile.

Description

Starting from the Upper Glade Creek trailhead, visitors will work their way down the Glade Creek Trail and find themselves immersed in a world of lush forests and falling water. Be sure to bring a swim suit on this trail, as your inner child won't be able to resist jumping into at least one of the numerous swimming holes located along the route.

If hiking this route as an out-and-back appears too much, visitors have the option to leave a shuttle vehicle at the Glade Creek Trail Lower Parking Area.

Beautiful hike that follows Glade Creek the whole way. The autumn colors were vibrant and the sound of the running water made this hike epic. 11.4mi
