Need to Know

Your car will be safe since you never lose sight of it during your hike.

Description

I suppose it's an OK place to have a picnic under the shelter, but the trail is nothing to write home about. The route follows a monotonous path that has been mowed in an old cornfield. There's not a thing growing that's over 3 ft. tall. That being said, if you're looking for a short trail to let a four legged friend burn some energy, this might be a good spot.

Not recommended if you're looking for a longer or more scenic route.

Convenient trail markers guide the hiker back to the trailhead in case you get lost. (Or you can just look at your car which is never out of sight in the parking lot, and walk back to it)
