A claustrophobic trail, seemingly hidden and tucked below Coopers Rock.

Description

Starting at the eastern terminus, this trail begins near the parking area. Visitors will descend gently at the intersection with Ridge Trail and Rock City Trail. When coming from those other trails, visitors will see a small break in the bedrock that marks the start of the Rattlesnake Trail. Moving below the steep bluff, this hidden gem is a great way to escape the crowds of the park.

Although so near the main parking areas, this trail is not heavily traversed by park visitors.
