Family Friendly A short, easy trail - come during berry picking season for a delicious treat!

Description

Hop on the Trestle Loop Trail to immerse yourself in both the natural and engineering wonders that grace this area, both now and in the past. While on the trail, explore the large trestles left as a relic of the railroad that once traveled through this area while nibbling on the scrumptious berries that grow alongside the trail. If you'd like to take some home, know that the park restricts berry picking to one gallon of berries per person per day.

Both starting and ending at the Mill Creek Campground, the trail remains relatively flat as it traverses forests of alder, maple, spruce, and redwood. Keep your eyes peeled for thimbleberry, huckleberry, wild ginger, and California blackberry nestled beneath the trees.
