Description

Departing from the southern end of the Prairie Creek area, this trail offers hikers another chance to see the most famous residents of this area: Roosevelt elk. If they're not lounging in the meadows, these majestic animals can sometimes be seen browsing in the shaded woods here.

The path itself is a multi-use trail, so you'll likely see runners, hikers, and cyclists during your outing. The path is smooth and flat, providing a pleasant surface no matter how you choose to travel. Use this trail in conjunction with the Davison Trail for a longer outing.
