Description

To access the trail, cross the bridge over the Yakima River from the Umtanum Creek Recreation Area parking lot, go under the railroad tracks and turn left at the trail split. The trail starts climbing immediately. It can be rocky and loose at times. The trail will continue to climb steeply until it reaches a doubletrack jeep road (Umtanum Ridge Jeep Rd).
