Description

Access to this trail can be found at the intersection of Nichol Road and Pioneer Camp Road or off Pinto Loop Trail.

From Nichol Road, the trail heads downhill and is cut into the slope. Wide enough for horses to traverse, the trail can become soggy and is pitted with horse tracks.

You'll pass Camp Trail on the left before coming to a Y in the trail. Take the right, heading uphill at a pair of wood log steps. The left connects with Heritage Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Wildflowers are abundant within the Raccoon Creek State Park.
