Description

This trail features a moderate grade, and starts off with a crossing of the Seven Mile Creek. Visitors will then continue on to a gentle climb to the PCT.

The trail surface is dirt/rock, and once past the Seven Mile Creek, you won't cross the creek again. There were several downed trees across the trail, which is normal in the area. There are well worn paths around any fallen trees, which are usually easy to follow.

If you keep an eye to the south (left on the way out) you'll come close to the creek canyon a few times, but there are no real views though unless you go off trail.

One thing of note, once you hit the PCT, if you take a right turn (north) you'll quickly come to a trail for Ranger Springs. This is a lovely stop to make, and visitors can watch as water is literally bubbling out of the ground.

A few small snow patches, some wet spots, otherwise in good shape.
