Description
To get to this trail, you'll have to hike a little over a half mile along the
East Fork Trail #650 from the fairly large parking area off of 35. You may need to use overflow parking on the west side of 35, north of the primary parking area. The intersection with the
East Fork Trail #650 is signed and clear.
The trail heads west and drops down to the creek, which it crosses on a nice log bridge. Thereafter, the trail slowly and steadily gains elevation as it follows the creek west. A nice feature of this trail is that it stays close to the creek nearly the whole time. You'll encounter Tamanwas Tie Trail #650B at a large slide area. The trail in this section is very rocky and loose, so be mindful of your footing. There is also a switchback that a lot of hikers seem to miss, so keep an eye out for this to make the trail easier.
After a little more elevation, the trail levels off and will arrive at the beautiful waterfall. Enjoy the views but be careful of rocks which can come loose above the trail's end.
