Description

The Jump Off Canyon Trail starts out with a mild elevation climb and, after a couple of small switchbacks, you'll be presented with a choice. You can take this loop either clockwise or counter clockwise, and each option presents similar terrain. Both trails will meet up with the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and eventually end up in the mouth of Jump Off Canyon.

The trail is fairly exposed to the sun, so if you're heading out this way, make sure that you bring adequate water and sun protection with you. No matter which direction you choose, there will be a moderate climb and descent, but the grades are gentle, and the trail is well maintained.

If the loop isn't long enough on its own, you can also follow the Jump Off Canyon Waterfall Trail to extend your outing to include a scenic waterfall.
