Description

The Alternate Keauhou Access Trail starts just off the Chain of Craters Road, several miles uphill from the main Keauhou Trail trailhead at Mau Loa o Mauna Ulu. It follows an old doubletrack road descending past several structures. The Alternate Keauhou Access Trail is longer and joins the Keauhou Trail.
