Description

This trail connects the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath to Seneca Ridge Trail at the intersection with Black Rock Road at Black Rock Mill and runs on the other side of the creek as the Seneca Greenway Trail.

The portion of Seneca Bluffs nearest Rte 28 also has some rock sections which tend to coincide with very small stream crossings. Otherwise, the trail is almost all hard packed dirt and without many tree roots. There are sections that become very muddy, and remain so, for days after rain.

However, much of the trail remains high above Seneca Creek and offers many twists and turns to keep it smooth and fun.
