Description
The trailhead for the Connector to Riverside Ski Trails is on Boundary Street near the intersection with Madison Ave, in West Yellowstone. This important ski trail is used to reach the
Up River Ski Loop and the Down River Ski Loop on the Madison River.
The Connector to Riverside Ski Trails is flat, straight, and a rather boring 1.2-miles. The best advice is to cruise through it as fast as possible to leave yourself time to enjoy one or both of the ski loops on the Madison River.
The Connector to Riverside Ski Trails leaves West Yellowstone and immediately enters Yellowstone National Park. The good news is, there's no toll booth here so you won't need a Park Pass. At .3 miles a side trail to your right leads to Yellowstone's West Entrance Gate. Continue straight and reach the trail junction with the upper and lower loops at the 1.2-mile mark.
