Popular with hunters during deer season. Check Michigan DNR site for exact dates and wear orange when appropriate. A Michigan "Recreation Passport" is required to park at the trail-head

Description

C Loop is located at the southernmost portion of the Highland State Recreation Area and can be accessed from the B Loop. This loop has tighter switchbacks, more rocks and roots than A/B and one extended climb about 2/3rd of the way around. It is a fun trail and you'll have to navigate rock and roots on this rolling singletrack trail.

Another great example of the footing on the short connector from the B Loop to the C Loop.
