This trail offers a loop option (if used with the Central Parking Lot to Wachter Road Segment) with connections to other spurs to offer a lot of variety in routes. The route goes over rolling terrain with some decent climbs and descents, typically traversing forests, but with a view in areas with more open meadows. It's a very peaceful and scenic route, and open all seasons for cross-country skiers, hikers and trail runners.
