Description

Like the Black Horse Trail (Central), this trail is a wide doubletrack with a history dating back to before the turn of the 20th century. The amalgamation of old farm roads, this trail was one of the first bridle trails converted during the park's early development.

Today, visitors will enjoy this shady doubletrack. The route is mostly flat, with one small rise and descent. The trail begins near Missouri Ave, and continues south to Blagden Ave. Along the way, visitors will have to cross multiple creeks, and the path may be a bit muddy surrounding these areas. Creek crossings are all furnished with bridges, and the way won't be terribly difficult.

Connect this trail with many others in the park to extend your visit, and escape the bustle of the city.
