Family Friendly Easy trail for short legs, paved for strollers.

Description

Bear Lake County Park is a lovely, out of the way spot that's great for a stroll, picnic or time with kiddos on the playground. This paved trail has almost no elevation gain/loss and is well-maintained. Visitors will have a view of the lake for nearly the entire distance. The low-lying northern end of the loop is subject to flooding in the spring and during high water times.

There is a playground and waterfront access for swimming on the west side of the lake.

Flora & Fauna

Water fowl, deer, spring wildflowers, cattails, aspen.
