From the trailhead, ascend a short hill to reach the Fire and Lookout Tower. Though the route is short, you'll find some beautiful views at the top. Stop for a moment to take them in! When you're ready to continue on, look to the left of the tower, and you'll find no doubt find the blazed trail. Follow the red blazes down a small grade, as the path moves through the forest. The trail is easy to follow and very clearly marked.
