Description
Hull's Gulch Interpretive Trail which is also known as Upper Hulls Gulch Trail starts at the top of
Lower Hull's Gulch Trail #29, where 8th Street Motorcycle Trail #4 crosses the canyon. Due to the fact that it is a bit further away from town, and since the trail is closed to everything but foot traffic (no bikes or horses), it tends to be uncrowded and peaceful.
The trail winds its way up the canyon, crossing over the creek via foot bridges in numerous locations. It eventually passes a small waterfall that flows in the springtime, and is sometimes also called the Waterfall Trail. After the waterfall, the trail contours along the side of a hill and eventually ends at a dirt parking lot on 8th Street. There is a pit toilet at this parking lot.
Flora & Fauna
Rabbits, coyotes, deer, and elk can all be spotted on this trail at various times of year.
