Description

Always check trinitytrailriders.org for the current trail status.

This trail is on Corps land on the west side of Lavon Lake and goes through meadows and woodlands.

The destination on this trail segment is the White Rock Creek crossing and picnic tables, set in a grove a very mature pecan trees. Between the Lucas Rd underpass at the south end of this segment and the Creek crossing, the trail winds through woods and meadows, without any views of the lake.

This trail has an alternate path (the 'low' path) that can be used to make a loop for a return leg, or for some added variety in scenery. There is a picnic table about 1/2 way to the Creek crossing, and from there the trail parallels White Rock Creek.

Flora & Fauna

Deer, bobcats, coyotes, and wild pigs have been seen on this trail segment.
