Description

Always check trinitytrailriders.org for the current trail status.

This trail is on Corps land on the southwest and west side of Lavon Lake and goes through meadows and woodlands.

The first leg of the trail goes around the trailhead and then runs along the shoulder of Skyview Drive for a 1/2 mile. Then, after a short stretch through a meadow, the marked trail cuts through the NTMWD water intake plant property and re-enters woods on the other side.

After winding through woods and meadows, it comes out on the utility easement on the west side of the lake and runs northwest along the easement until finally turning east towards the lake.

The trail enters Collin Park and uses a marked trail through Collin Park to reach Rolling Meadows Rd. Make your way north on Rolling Meadows Rd to reach the access gate that will lead to the Trinity Trail going further north as well as the picnic tables.
