Flat and easy trails with the option for longer or shorter loops.
Overview
A great loop on the winding singletrack at Losco Regional Park.
Description
Start this hike on
Red Loop. This trail serves as entrance and exit to entire Losco trail system. Like all three loops in the system, it's flat and features palmetto roots, mud at times, and is generally fairly easy trail to hike. About half-way through
Red Loop, split off onto
White Loop.
You can go either direction of
White Loop but this hike goes clockwise here. Follow very similar trail to what you experienced on
Red Loop and look for another junction, again about half-way through the loop and across a wooden bridge.
Hike the complete
Blue Loop and follow it back to
White Loop to finish whichever half you didn't already hike. Back at
Red Loop, decide whether to exit the system or do a few more laps.
All loops are clearly marked throughout and especially well at the junctions. Mile posts will let you know your distance if you are traveling clockwise.
