Description

The Steinke Basin Loop is a fairly wide gravel/grass-based trail. It is relatively flat, with some light rolling terrain. There are plenty of wide open prairies and woodlands. There are also some encounters with streams in this section. During the winter, this path is an excellent cross-country ski route. This trail is pretty quiet year round in comparison with the East Bluff Trail and West Bluff Trail.
