Family Friendly An easy trail - there is a good chance of spotting deer.

Description

On our hike, we got onto Trail 42 about mid-way around. The trail actually starts and ends at the Riverside State Park Equestrian area where there are facilities for picnics and parking.

We had hikeed along Trail 100 (the river bluff trail) and then turned west (away from the river). The section of Trail 42 that we did somewhat mirrors Trail 100, but is more open with fewer trees. The views are beautiful. We saw several mule deer along our way.
