Description

The White Oak Trail can be used to make a smaller loop out of Hawk Ridge Trail. The trail begins with a gradual descent to Owl Creek. Along this creek valley is one of the mature woodlands in the park. You may see wild geraniums, dog-tooth violets and other spring wildflowers along the trail. After the trail crosses the creek, it continues through the woods before reconnecting with Hawk Ridge Trail on the west side of the park.
