For every continuous inch of rain fallen, the trails should be left to dry for 24 hours.

Description

If you are starting this route from the Richmond Slave Trail, pass the boat ramp looking for a kiosk on the left. Follow the trail across a gravel road. The trail continues to a fork. This fork represents the beginning/ending of the loop.

There are limited bailouts as the trail meanders into multiple switchbacks. Stay alert for mountain bike riders as they may sneak up on you quickly due to narrow turns. There may be small mud puddles right after of rain.
