Family Friendly While there aren't many exciting features along this trail, the gradual descent and dense forest make this an enjoyable trail for the whole family.

Description

The Turk Branch Trail is actually an old road that connects from the AT to the south branch of Moormans River. At its southeastern terminus, it joins the SF Moormans River Road, a fire road that descends from Jarman Gap. It is a steady, although gradual descent the entire way with a few curves thrown in to keep things interesting.
