This is an aggressive 3.2 mile trail that starts in a valley off of the Big Run Portal Trail. The trail literally follows the ridge from the beginning all the way up to Skyline Drive. Only about 3/4 of the way through does it actually utilize a few switchbacks during the entire 1600' climb.

The trail ends just north of the Loft Mountain Wayside parking lot and can be added to other local trails to make a loop if desired.

Experience this area in the autumn to see it erupt in fiery fall color.
