Description

This service road used to be one continuous road connected with the Browntown Trail. Now, this yellow-blazed service road provides a steady descent from the Gravel Springs Hut to the park boundary and Harris Hollow Road below that.

Thanks to Larry W. Brown, for sharing this trail description. If you’re interested in learning more details about great hikes, weather, camping / lodging, wildlife, and scenic drives, check out the comprehensive Guide to Shenandoah National Park.
