Family Friendly While hiking the entire trail may prove too much for young children, the first segment of the trail can provide an exciting detour to Lower Doyles River Falls via the Upper Doyles Falls Trail.

Description

This fire road heads east and south from the junction at Browns Gap with Skyline Drive, the AT: Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PA/MD/VA/WV), and Madison Run Road. It continues across the Doyles River Trail to the park boundary where the fire road becomes SR629.
