Description

This trail is managed and maintained by the Historic Town of Rugby. The trailhead starts off of Cumberland Drive. You can park at the church located in "downtown" Historic Rugby, and hike to the trailhead. This trail is seldom used and after a good rain, you'll have a lot of wet areas to hike through, so be prepared to get your shoes a little wet and muddy.

In some places, the trail is covered by ferns and tall grasses, so there is a little bit of detective work to do. There are a few small bridges to cross over. Most of the trail is on private land, but it then does cross over onto the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area.

This trail takes you to the cemetery if you head left at the end, or if you head straight and up and over a berm, it will take you to the Gentleman's Swimming Hole Loop.

Flora & Fauna

Make sure to watch for snakes on the trail.
