Description
Featuring some of the most verdant portions of Spokane, this trail is the perfect outing for families. Especially during hot summer months, the dense tree cover keeps temperatures on-trail low. Wildflowers, ferns and a variety of tree species can be seen from the trail, offering a glimpse into the natural world.
Along the way, the whole family will enjoy the gently rolling terrain, and the proximity to the Spokane River and Nine Mile Reservoir. There are many places to stop for a picnic, or for a dip in the cool waters.
The terrain gets a bit more rolling before you come to the Deep Creek Bridge, but even so, the terrain won't pose any significant challenges.
