Section Of

Description

From the trailhead, head north through the gate on the well paved road-like path. From here the trail will descend slightly for the the entire 0.8 miles on the way down to the restroom and access to other local trails in Riverside State Park.

The restroom at the end of this section is known as "The Icebox" by local rangers. Not only is it one of the only restrooms not located at a trailhead, but it also gets extremely cold due to its location. This chilling truth has helped create the nickname for the restroom.
