Overview
This trail provides a rugged badlands experience that is accessible to many because of its short length. Various badlands features, including a natural bridge, are visible along this trail as well as long-distance views of the badlands area.
Description
The trailhead is about 2.5 miles inside the park and includes a parking area. From the trailhead, follow the well trodden path through caprock and other badlands formations including: rills and pinnacles. Stop to view the natural bridge and loop around to the start.
Though steep in parts, the short length of this loop makes it a nice, easier loop for park visitors to get out and stretch their legs. You shouldn't have to worry to much about obstacles either, as this trail is well traveled and tame.
