Description
Follow the red metal blazes, and you'll be on your way. In most cases, there will be a fork to the right (if hiking counterclockwise) labeled as a lookout point. These are short and encouraged as they really give a sense of the isolation and great views of the coastline from the cliffs.
This is the most remote section of the loop, so plan accordingly and bring wilderness survival gear in case things get ugly. There are plenty of creek crossings to get water, but be sure to treat it with Aqua-tabs or filters. Steri-Pens work great too. Some friends of mine drink it straight, but I don't want to risk beaver fever.
Flora & Fauna
The trail meanders through a moist and mossy boreal forest.
