Description

Starting from the visitor center, this two-mile loop travels through open meadow and forested wetlands. The upper portion of the trail includes parts of the Blue Trail, while the lower portion includes parts of the Orange Trail.

Once you head out from the visitor center, you'll hike through open meadow before entering the forest and dropping down to the creek below. This drop can be dangerous as it has roots and steps along the way, so be sure to watch your footing.

Once you are along the creek, you can open it up a little before starting the steep climb back up to the visitor center.
