Description

This shorter, gently rolling trail connects the South Sourdough (#835) and the parking area at Brainard lake to the South Saint Vrain Trail (#909). Due to the beautiful old-growth pine forests, trail users will be heavily shaded throughout, and will get a sense of peaceful isolation. The lush area is quite enjoyable, especially in a state typically characterized by dry weather vegetation.

Flora & Fauna

Deep pine forest, dominated by lodgepole pine.
