Description

The trail follows the dirt bed of an old woods road from the Long Pine reservoir southwest passed the Hosack Run Trail to the AT (Appalachian Trail) near Caledonia State Park. It passes through a typical mixed hardwood forest, with stands of Rosebay Rhododendron near the mouth of Dark Hollow. Although there are no views and few other outstanding features along this trail, it is particularly useful for making loop options with the Appalachian Trail.
