Description

As one of the only trails for foot-traffic only, this is where to go to find more peace and quiet in the Marshall Mesa area. From the Davidson Ditch, ascend a gentle rise contouring the hillside. Pass through open meadows and past some scattered evergreens. Soon the trail ends at a junction with the Community Ditch Trail to the west of Marshall Lake. This area saw extensive coal mining in the 1860's.

Flora & Fauna

Birds of prey, coyotes and mule deer.
