Description

The Cholla Trail can be combined with others to make a round trip hike at varying lengths. The trail itself is similar to many others in the area. The trail is mostly flat, and provides visitors with views of the characteristic desert flora that Saguaro is famous for. You'll pass ancient saguaro, cholla, and you may even see some of the full time park residents, such as lizards or hares. Shade will come at a premium however, so be prepared for intense sun exposure.

Flora & Fauna

Desert cactus varieties abound.
