Description

This trail connects to the Devil's Hall Trail in order to bypass the steep beginning of the Guadalupe Peak Trail. The Stock Trail is still steep in sections, but does provide a flatter overall grade as well as less traveled singletrack. We found this section to be a nice wind-down, as we saw quite a few mule deer along this path and the section of the Devil's Hall Trail to get back to the campground is basically flat.

Flora & Fauna

Junipers, pines, madrones and cacti.
