From the Cam-Boh picnic area, follow the Roadrunner Trail north. Please beware this trail crosses busy Picture Rocks Road. Once north of Picture Rocks Road, the trail offers views of the many cacti in the Sonoran Desert. In addition, as you head north, you have a view of rugged Panther Peak. Panther Peak is outside of Saguaro National Park on BLM land, but you can make your way up to the summit of Panther Peak on a rough overgrown trail.

Consider bringing a comb if you're embarking on this trail. While bringing a comb might be beneficial for selfies, you'll get better use out of a comb if you have the misfortune of getting a cholla stuck to your leg. The north end of the trail is home to many chollas.
