Description

From the parking area, follow the short loop through characteristic Chihuahuan Desert flora before stopping underneath a lush cottonwood grove near the oasis for a quick bite of lunch and sip of water as you keep your eyes peeled for birds twittering between tree branches. Though short, this trail can still be filled with adventure as you'll be up close to many permanent residents of the park.

Flora & Fauna

Creosote bushes, cottonwoods, and numerous species of bird can be found along the trail.
