This is an alternate spur for the Dewey Point Trail creating a loop rather than a one way trail. See Featured Hike: Dewey Point for this loop option.

The ridge variation branches off the main trail shortly after the trailhead at a marked intersection. It winds its way up through a lush forest before joining the main trail before the last small hill to the view area.

This is also a difficult xc ski trail in the winter. Ask the folks at the Nordic Shop for a ski specific map if you plan on visiting in the winter months.
