From PCT: Tuolumne Meadow to Sonora Pass continue north to follow Rancheria Creek. The trail loosely follows the creek and crosses it at about 0.8 miles. Depending on the season, there might be ample water flowing in Rancheria Creek. Shortly before the crossing, the trees open up and give way to a larger alpine meadow that intermittently stretches all the way north to Peeler Lake. You cross several small creeks on your way, some of them may have seasonal water. After 4.8 miles, Robinson Creek Trail #077 is to the right. Continue further north and enter Kerrick Meadow. Cross the meadow and reach the junction with Peeler Lake Trail #079 and Buckeye Pass Trail at about 6.3 miles.
