The Whiskey Creek Trail is closed from November 23 to June 20 for elk winter range and calving. There is a new trail in this area called Everkrisp, which connects to Whiskey Creek.

Description

Amazing views and a great singletrack descent through a large, mature aspen forest. It's an enjoyable trail, except for the short junky section (a badly eroded, straight downhill mess of loose rock) right at the bottom before you hit the highway culvert. Combining this into a loop with Line Shack makes a great half-day hike.

This is also a popular mountain bike trail, so expect to share.

Started on Whisky Creek and tried to get to Line Shack. Unfortunately the last .5 mile or so are snowy and the trail is covered.
