Description

This is an easy, somewhat shaded trail that follows Sugarloaf Creek upstream. It begins at the Roaring River Ranger Station and briefly follows the Roaring River before climbing over a rise to meet up with Sugarloaf Creek and bypassing the confluence of the two streams.

Around 7.0 miles and after a short steep climb, there is a nice campsite with bear-proof metal storage cabinets.

The trail ends at a four-way trail junction that has slightly confusing signage.
